Yeah, they run on TV resolutions and refresh rates.  There's supposedly going to be two versions.. the cheap one [$299 (american im guessing)], which reportedly barely ran Need For Speed : Hot Persuit 2... and the more expensive one [which is around $799], which supposedly ran the new Medal Of Honour game pretty well.

What i don't understand is what's going to happen when new technology and games come out?  if they are upgradable, then why not just fork out the extra cash for a real computer?  Also, it's running on windows XP, so what about some of the classic games that dont run on xp?   And..  Supposedly it's just a software program which bypasses installation and lets you "pop the disc in and play", so whats going to stop someone hacking the system and putting the software up for download for PC users?  One last thing [which was mentioned in an article i read], the system will connect to the internet through a phone line or broadband connection, so it can download the update it will need to run newer games [an update which lets the system run a particular game without installing], but what happens is a software developer doesn't want to co-operate with the sytem?

anyway.
