tarmac President of G! Forums Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 394	I have a big problem here! I bought the new Total Gta package from internet last week and I got the package yeasterday. The package contains Gta, Gta London and Gta2. I sat down to install Gta and Gta London this night and a strange phenomena occurs. Btw I run Win Xp on my computer so that might be the error. Well no on the problem. I configured the game and tried to run it on 3DFX, both Gta and Gta London. When I come into the game it says CD missing blah blah and you can only play multiplayer. Then I thought it could be 3dfx or somethin wierd with that so I also tried with Gta95 and Gta London95.... Guess what... same f*cking problem!!! Does annyone know what can have caused this disturbing error? /Regards ------------------

Does annyone know what can have caused this disturbing error?

paul Flaming Squirrel Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 486 Type: Administrator	Do you have two drives? If so play the game in the master drive, sometimes it doesn't see the disc on the slave drive. If not, try cleaning it, could just be a little scratch or something. ------------------ Grrrrr

ferret mustelid Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 125	I would be willing to bet tarmac has two CD drives... in which case if I recall correctly you need to both run it and install it from the one that is alphabetically first. Or maybe you have to do some registry haxification. I can't remember.

tarmac President of G! Forums Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 394	I have a Geforce 4 MX440.. I tried to run it both in 3dfx and only 24-bit but nothing happens. Yes I have two CD readers. But I have also Daemon Tools installed.... maybe it's only Daemon Tools that spookes the whole thing. I'll try tonight to run it on my old computer. I appreciate all the help! :D ------------------

tarmac President of G! Forums Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 394	HEY!! I got it working! I just uninstalled Daemon Tools and woops. Just one problem more. I can run it n 24-bit but both Gta and Gta Londo lagged. I can start in 3dfx but then I am back to square 1. It ask for the CD and says I can only join a network game. ------------------
