Deleted Member	Do you have any music when you start the game, in title screen that is? And when you pause the game, can you hear music?

Deleted Member	There is music in the title screen menus in the retail version of GTA. Not in the free version of GTA. And the music stops when you pause the game and starts again when you resume playing. I'd be glad if someone could tell me which track is played during the title screen. Oh and BTW, I was wondering, GTA warez versions, are they still considered warez in the eyes of the law?

Deleted Member	Oops... Yeah, I meant the new free version. I just asked because I thought there was something wrong in the game but I think not.

Deleted Member	I also made a discovery regarding the music, I think the tracks are off by one. I'll explain: TRACK01=MENU 1=HIPHOP TRACK02=HIPHOP 2=FUNK TRACK03=FUNK 3=CHART TRACK04=CHART 4=DANCE TRACK05=DANCE 5=ROCK TRACK06=ROCK 6=COUNTRY TRACK07=COUNTRY 7=TECHNO TRACK08=TECHNO 8=POLICE TRACK09=POLICE 9=AMBIENCE TRACK10=AMBIENCE ?=MENU The left column was the actual layout of the music tracks (named '{installdirectory}/music/track#.wav') upon installation of the Free GTA (tested under Winamp) The right column shows how the tracks should have been named (i.e. the outside world should use the Ambience soundtrack, not the police radio! ;))I don't know how the Menu track should have been named... (Yes, there is a menu track, heard it myself when I rented the PSX version, exactly like 'track1.wav', it's even supposed to be played on Pause...) Anyway, rename all the tracks accordingly (2 to 1; 3 to 2; etc.) for the intended soundtracks to match properly. I guess you can even rename the menu to track0 ot track10, it's in the way of the process! p.s. first post, but I'm an avid fan of GTA! :D p.p.s. Why won't the blinkin' columns align properly? :#@

TRACK02=HIPHOP 2=FUNK
TRACK03=FUNK 3=CHART
TRACK04=CHART 4=DANCE
TRACK05=DANCE 5=ROCK
TRACK06=ROCK 6=COUNTRY
TRACK07=COUNTRY 7=TECHNO
TRACK08=TECHNO 8=POLICE
TRACK09=POLICE 9=AMBIENCE
TRACK10=AMBIENCE ?=MENU

Deleted Member	Yes I was also surprised to have music in cop cars and a city ambience while I'm driving a coach and a police radio when I'm on foot.

Deleted Member	Noticed that too. Evil R*... But track 10 doesn't play in the game. Well it wasn't a good tune anyway :p
