| Azz the barbarian. grrr 
| As you may or may not know by now, the next GTA game has been officially confirmed. Despite random rumours at many sites (not mine, what with us not bothering with news  ), most of them have been proved wrong.As many of us (well me at least) hoped, we're off to the uppydowny land of San Andreas, easily my favourite level in the original GTA so this should be good. PS2 release date is set at October this year (that's only 7 months people!), so I'd expect PC version in what, a years time? Ho hum. But still, all good news. Also, since it's in San Andreas, then doesn't that fuel the rumors that it will take place during a massive riot, like the Watts riot??? That would make sense. Nevermind that crap, I don't want to be missunderstood and have someone say that I'm spreading rumors. I just can't wait for this thing to drop!  |

| I like the way they wrote San Andreas in old english. Plus us Yanks get to play 3 days before you Europeans. I'll post screen shots of the actual game as soon as I get it. Only 8 1/2 months till it's here !!!  ------------------ Gone to the roof |

Judging by the font choice, looks like San Andreas will take place in Los Angeles instead of San Francisco (originally in GTA1). Which is a damn shame because I can already imagine all those Unique Stunts done over the cable cars or Landstalkers racing down Lombardi.  Or even a driver-sniping range atop the Golden Gate.------------------  |

| Deleted Member | You KNOW that there is going to be a golden gate-type bridge in the game. That's pretty much a given. It's the BIGGEST landmark in California. And it's the most practical thing that they could bring to the game that is a reminder of California. Even if it doesn't take place in San Francisco I'll bet they'll still have it. Another thing; Who do you think the new character will be? Also, I was just pondering this idea and I started thinking; Since this game is in Cali, it is likely( to me) that it would have alot to do with El Burro, right??? You know, like in VC, donald love was just an apprentice to Avery Carrington, so maybe in this game you will get to see a young El Burro before he becomes the bigshot that he is in GTA3? Maybe, you will even help him on missions and stuff? Maybe not? . There is alot of things that it will and could be.... |

| Homosexuality is a very sensitive current issue in the United States right now - see S.F.'s gay marriage rampage - so you know the next GTA's gonna exploit it. And El Burro apparently swings "that way." Let's hope they also bring back the famous G! Conga Line... First it was the Hare Krishnas, then the Elvises...Perhaps the game could take place in the 60's or 70's, and you could help out a young Tommy Vercetti before he ends up in prison. ------------------ |
