    		im not a noob to this game! but i fucked up too many times adding new cars to the game so i had to reinstall it! now i cant get the img tool to add rename or replace anything from the archive! i even changed from read-only to normal and it still wont work! but heres the really weird thing! i can add,change,etc from the .txd archive! but not the normal archive!      

    i wonder if there is some fix or something! i have reinstalled and changed the file to archive only five times already! :%

      		i forgot to mention! it(img editor) keeps on saying file access denied!! and then it just buggs out!

      		Get it uninstalled completely.

      Now when its re-installed, go to where you installed it and right click on the rockstar games folder and go to properties, uncheck read-only and then choose the option 'apply to all folders and subfolders'

      There is no other explantion for this unless the img file is being used by another program like gta or moomapper.

        		no file nor folder is read only! and it still wont work!!!!!!
        plus i think the disk is cutting off half of the archive during install!  how big is the gta3.img archive supposed to be?(vice city version) because it is only 329 mb's or something!
        and i think it's supposed to be in the 600's!!!! :N  :N

        		the size of the gta3.img archive depends on which video card you own. The original gta3.img file in my Vice City Installation is 312 mb, so your value of 329 mb seems to be pretty normal.

          		i finally got it!! it was the gta3.dir file! it was hidden by my computer! it was classified as a protected system file!?? so i just exsposed it and changed to archive only! now i got my cars and stuff in!!!
