Should I model this thing or not (marked with the red lines): As you can see, the thing (I don't know how I should name it :) ) moves when the trunk opens. That means I need a second pivot point, because it doesn't rotate at the same place as the trunk itself. But as far as I know, this can't be done in GTA 3 or GTA Vice City. If I make it part of the trunk and I only have one pivot-point, then it'll open rather silly, it would hang in the air, so that's not an option. But I have 2 other solutions: If I model it (and I dont make it part of the trunk), the thing will just stay in that position (it'll look like it's floating, but still attached to the rear seats), when the trunk opens.. Another solution is to NOT model it, but that way you'll see a rather large gap all the time where that thing should be. I think the last solution is the best, but what do you think about it? ------------------ HAHA!!!!! I'll drive you crazy, and I'll KILL you all!!!

I think you should model it without making it part of the trunk. In most cars, you can easily remove the connection between the trunk and this thing, so that it won't open when you open the trunk. I've seen quite a lot of cars who disabled this "feature", because they prefer placing things on top of this thing and hate it when they fall down because they open the trunk lid.

Otherwise, I'd still be stuck in the front of a purple Honda Civic wedged down my driveway with the front burried into the side fence. It would look kinda cool in Vice city if it were functional (for all of 5 seconds), except for the fact that you can't open the boot unless it's taken off in a collision, thus it's pointless. Unless of course you attatched it to a gullwing style door for the rear. That thought just poped into my head

Would look rather silly :D But I think I'm just gonna attach it to the backseats and the sides of the trunk, like Fragdieb2 said. Sounds good the way you explained it :) ------------------ HAHA!!!!!
