I just woke up and need to get out the door to work, so this'll be brief.

Just got an email from Rockstar saying the  San Andreas splash site has been updated.

Has three screenshots, showing off the mods to the lighting engine as much as anything (oh and a push bike, hehe).

Also a few pieces of different artwork, reload the page to see them.

Did it have the release date on there before or were we just guessing? October this year for PS2 anyway.

Now then, work...

I can't help to be disappointed it isn't set in the 60's/70's though, no hippies..... sigh

    		We might not get bikes, like in that one VC screenshot with that chick in the skates...nontheless, these look great. And from I can tell, we get more than one city...excellent.

    		All three shots look like they're set in the Los Angeles ghetto, which may mean that unless there'll be a San Francisco section, we'll just have to settle with another big, flat city. sad

    On the bright side, that Voodoo looks wicked. smile

    You think that Rockstar could dig up the old-school rap tracks they used in Thrasher: Skate and Destroy to use in San Andreas?

    But if you look at his pants (as was mentioned in Alfa's S.A. topic) it looks like the same guy in the voodoo screen shot, and probably the same guy that's driving the drive-by car, so that's probably our main character.

    		or they've only completed one animated character model...


    I can't believe they won't do the hills of san francisco, it was like one of the main features of the original game city. I reckon it'll sprawl a bit, two halves like VC, one modelled on LA, t'other on SF.

    San Francisco has ghettos too. Plus there's still hippies up and down Height st. Homeless people in every ally. But hopefully it'll be a mix of LA & SF.

      This promo image. My guess is on it saying Pinewood, based on nothing other than there being a famous film studio in the UK called Pinewood and that's the kind of joke RN would use being UK-based. Maybe. uhoh

      		there are 3 citys neway, the will feature las vegas too. it was in the game informer artical. 3 cities with country side in between.
