BTW: Most games do not support dual monitor modes, and it's not worth it if you are using Extended mode because you game will be between you monitors. then HOW DO YOU CALL THIS?  ra2 seems to be totally fucked, i unpluged the second monitor pci card out and it is still fucked, i fucking hate this game because even if i install it trough win98 multiboot fat32 on same computer the game will do suicide on all your units as part of copy protection GAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! does anyone know a workaround for this? Hmm. I'm not sure what you called that (virtual desktops)?, but I've seen that kind of image if you take a webcam and stare it at the monitor and take a picture of it you will get that kind of image. If you have a GeForce FX5600 series VGA card, your VGA should have two adapters: VGA and DVI, why do you even install a PCI vga card anyway? |

| www.gtatools.com/temp/infinite.PNG This is not actualy a fractal or any other form of infinite strucuture. It is very much a finite occurance. When you start the camera normally and view the output, the camera gathers light over a perdiod of time, such as 1/25th of a second. Once this period is over, it sends an electronic signal which expresses the intensity and frequency of light which was gathered on each sensor in the array of photo-sensors. This signal reaches the computer where it is processed and converted into a signal to be used by the projection method the particular viewing device. If you point the camera at its own output, that the first frame will include light from the output. This means that the first frame will display the monitor with the output window in it. Inside the output window will be a smaller instance of the output window. During the second frame, light will again be collected from the output. The second frame will therefore show the monitor with the output window in it and the smaller version of the output window. Inside the smaller output window image will be a second smaller output window image. Therefore, during each frame you point the camera at the output the number of recursive (fractal) frames shown in the output window will increase by one. This means that unless you point the camera at the output forever (which is impossible) there will always be a finite number of smaller windows inside the actual window. Additionally, frames will only continue to be added until the smallest frame becomes no larger than the size of a pixel. Hah! ;D ------------------
