Good job, but I think it's slightly suffering from what happens to mine - too many hacks make the shading dirty and bandy. Also, I found this wasn't helped by how I made my cars use a lot of colours in the first place by the way I made them. Ahh well, the only way to get around it is somehow devise a way to use less colours, or don't really hack it.

GJ anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I do like her... but it doesn't grab me the way a lot of your others do.  none

The shape is pretty good... seems a little less pointy than the general representation of an F40 biggrin

Shading is good, but I feel that the bonnet highlight could have curved a little more with the shape, rather than being what is essentially a straight line. Maybe moving it over a pixel would solve the problem? I think that the rear end definately needs a highlight on the left hand side, to make it look metallic, as it appears rather flat atm.

Details are good as per usual. I like the interior, and the engine is a nice touch. Some good hacks, I especially like the AR version... stylish.

Overall, Really nice car.  biggrin

*damn I miss reviewing*

Delfi I would, but I really don't have enough spare time to do it justice. Well obviously at the moment I do because I'm not at work, but as soon as we get into January I'll be back to having no free time for it. Sorry n all.

Dan, did you look at the cars in the file themselves or just the animated gif? Just the gif is hideously "banded" as you say since animated gifs are a bit crap like that. But the cars themselves only the plain version of the hard top has a noticeable band, and that's just one line. Just a thought..

Ta for the feedback folks

Oh and Meklo, the bonnet highlight actually was flipped horizontally, so the bulk was to the right, but it didn't look right. And in my experience curved highlights are such a balls ache they're rarely worth the effort. smile
