This double post is necessary... the taillights are large because I'm making them SA compatible. That's definitely not the final texture.  :P

Taillights have to be that large to be SA compatible? Huh? Looks nice otherwise. Kinda like a Fiero/Del Sol

An interesting shape without much polygon wastage...good work.  Some really intelligent bits of polygon placement in there, actually.  Are the rear wheel arches incomplete?  I agree that the top corner of the door is too sharp.  Even if the doors have fitted glass the point where the top of the door, the roof, the rear windscreen and the rear pillar all meet should not be so skinny.

How come GTASA needs big light boxes?  Can you buy customised lights or something?  Where did you find this out from?

It don't matter with SA, the modified parts are in the .dff anyway. Just a case of the correct heiarchy and when you select a modded option it swaps it. Easy.

I actually meant SA-style, sorry. x.x

Anyhoo, got the wheelarches done, gonna detach them and recalculate the normals so I don't get that dark triangle at certain views. The rear window's looking a tad sharper too.

Maybe you should post your screenshots with another color for the car, this dark blue makes it real hard to see the shape or details properly, and it gets even harder to see with the black wireframe on it.

Did that. Also did as much texturing etc. as I could prior to Martin Luther King Day (and college the day afterward.) Also started on the interior. I'm going to curve out the dashboard when I get the doors detached. smile As for the normals...I'll detach the wheelarches later on.

Now...how to get those textures to appear from behind the glass - even though the matte's all the way down to the bottom of the material editor. dead
