Firstly, should I finish her?

Its the first thing I have attempted on my new PC (which I am still yet to set up as I like colourwise) so it might be a bit different to the usual stuff.

Anywho, some comments please.

Wow! I mean, scrap it, you're making me look bad... Seriously though, that's great, but the left mirror (from our POV) seems too bright though.

Hell yeah! What's the problem? I don't see anything wrong with it. The shape may be a bit unconventional (Do I smell a bit of Enzo here?) but hey, there's nothing wrong with experimentation.

That is insanely good looking to my mind. Just the kind of stuff I like to see. Original, shiny and ott.

Keep up the good work, but you need MUCH darker shadows, the back windscreen is too blurry, not enough darkness in there, the highlight is too light.

Moreover, the windscreen highlight and the lack of detail within the windscreen makes it look like a black plastic screen, no window or anything.

If the hump behind the cockpit is to be say as high as the back of the seat, you need much darker shadows and I believe it may suit better if you make the rear window more angled, and therefore the hump too, much more like an F1 car.

Try and make the central bit at the front go to more of a point like the Enzo, and reform the lights, I don't think they suit.

All very negative I know, but you can't scrap this...keep going.

Alfa: The engine is rear mounted.

John: I know there isnt much detail in the windows, but they are just something I fixed up quickly. Yes, I will make the rear end a little more shadowy and probably do something else with the lights.

Everyone else: Thanks for the comments biggrin

Yeah, you should move the roof forward a bit more and bring the rear window forward too sort of like the 90's MR-2.

Ahh, I looked at the car more carefully and err... ok. I think it's just not to scale. Originally I had thought the whole black bit was the windscreen, and that the car had a roof. I think if you put this in GTA it will look odd as his head will be too big.

Eh.. it's very weird. I dont "get" the shape.

Alfa, your monitor is probably too dark to show the driver's seat... I think you're right about the scale though, the driver's area might be a tad too thin.

All in all a very nice car, my main problem would be the front end. Those headlights are ugly IMO, you should try something different there. Also, the "bumper", so to speak, is lighter than the rest of the bonnet, which looks really odd because it seems like it's a completely different, separate part of the car. I think the bonnet shading is well executed, so you should darken the "bumper" until the transition isn't noticed.

The shadow of the roof, on the right side, should be darker, and probably wider, it doesn't seem raised enough. I've just noticed another oddity, the roof seems to be as high as the back-most part of the bonnet, due to the continuation of the shadow on both sides of the roof until it reaches the bonnet (and a bit further). Perhaps that shadow should vanish towards the front, ending somewhere along the driver's area, I think.

Finally, the shading on both wheelarches isn't very good. I can see how hard that must be to get right, but there's something about it that just doesn't work for me. Perhaps the highlights are too long, I don't know. It's a really minor thing though, but if you could improve that, I think it would help...wink

Thanks for the advice. I will try to rectify the problems - I know what you mean about the wings!
And yes, the cockpit is a little too small. biggrin
