I'm selling my car. The engine has begun to knock. I'm either getting a supercharged '89 MR-2 or a '77 Cadillac Seville.

awesome car, too bad your selling it..

someone gave me a 1984 subaru stationwagon the other week...  i'm yet to pick it up, so i don't know what model it is or anything... all i know is that it hasn't been used in fucking ages, and it doesn't run..  taking it around to one of my mates dad, see if he can tell what's wrong with it and if it'd be worth fixing up..

You know, if you put oil in the engine, then that doesn't happen.

haha! My mate's first car was a '84 Scooby wagon! It'll be a "1800" - the same as the "Leone" except later (more 80s). Bloody tough car, with 4WD available if you want it (I dont think they made a 2WD version?).

But it still happens if you beat the fuck out of the car. I've been driving it for a month and ive changed the oil twice with the valvoline higher mileage oil. The engine is just done. Alot of the gaskets need replacing and I contnued to drive it like that which lead to the engine knocking.

Once you start to hear knocking from the engine, it's pritty muck fucked. The damage might have been caused by the previuse owner, that's proble why you got such a good deal on that car.

If you know a mechanic, have em check out the next car you plan on buying. You don't want to end up buying another basket case, do you?

Here you can pay a small (relatively) fee to have RACQ (like your AA, or was it AAA) check over the car thoroughly for anything wrong, and give you a full written report. I'd highly recommend this - especially for older cars.

I think he'd need more than one piece of paper to write down the things wrong on this.

Oh man old scoobie wagons are so cool, there is one just down the bottom of the hill from me, it has a big deflector body kit thing on the front of it and sits unusually high, it?s so great.

I love obscure 4x4?s like that and the spacegear!1 there just so weird and silly.

I worked on my car all today put new sparkies, Ignition leads, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, engine oil drained and replaced with it magnetic oil, degreased carbie and next week I will do the gearbox oil, I hope that fixes my crunching 2nd sad

Good luck with the car sale Timmy, are you sure Ebay is the best option?

Yeah, you might be able to get a better deal in a specialist magazine. See what sorta price Ebay gives you though.

Knocking engine = Majour overhall. Hehe.

If someone were to test drive this car before buying it I wouldn't get $500. It's not all that bad but it doesn't drive very well it shakes and the brakes suck. It looks great and the body is in awesome shape considering that most of these are badly beaten up and rotted all through. eBay allows me to sell the car to people before they even drive it so there's no turning back. It should make a great daily driver/drag runner once a new engine is planted and the brakes and tires are replaced.

You actually drove it for 99999999 miles!

I wonder who ever has drive more miles than you.

Hope you make a huge profit!

So what are you planning to get for your next car?

Are you going to change your signature after you sold it?

    Ha, Ebay scammer.

Our BMW 525i went round the clock on the mileage and still run beutifully. It only needed a new distributor and tires I think. Oh, and a new exaust.

T'was an awesome car, E28 model.
