Service Pack 2 will be automatically updated because all mechanisms that blocks SP2 from installing to your system will be turn off.

And another thing that I've found out in a recent article: SLI does not support dual screen!

Also I believe when it comes to getting a new VGA card it's really a PITA because we always want the best with the cheapest price! Another thing is picking out the right card can be really confusing and difficult. Well look no further click on the link below take course on graphic cards 101.

Time to leave your system switched off on April 13th...or remove the internet connection.

I have had no troubles with SP2.  It has actually improved a lot of things, such as increasing the scope of the Control Panel.  The firewall is plenty easy enough to turn off from the Security Console and it doesn't even interfeer with GTA2 multiplayer, which has an intensely picky net code.  I dare say SP2 also fixes some of the security holes.

512mb vga card (SLI mode recommend)

It's funny that Walmart is listed as a pre-sale "etailer."

Not bloody likely. I doubt that link will ever work.

San Andreas is low spec compared to the current PC Generation of games. Doom 3, Half Life 2, Act of War, etc, all require way more.

And, that is low spec, even by todays standards!*

* I may be talknig about super computers.

Yes these specs are low, but if you compare the GTA VC to this one then it's a huge leap.
especially the VGA card, not that much people who have a 128mb vga card as of yet.
As for the super computer, home user system are not the fastest so therefore they are not super computers.
Well maybe  at a "home use" level but,  compare to the rest it's definately not a super computer.

I used to run VC on a Geforce 2 MX, lol. It ran Generals too, its amazing.

True, but you can often run 128mb card games on a 64mb card and get away with it on minimum settings. I guess R* finally decided to up the GFX of the GTA games for PC users.

The Radeon 7000 doesn't come in 128mb form, does it? If so, why?!?!

Nope the Radeon 7000 does not come in 128mb version only 32mb.

As for vga cards it's important not to only look at how many "mb" it has but, also the speed
of the GPU, RAMDAC, pipelines, ram speed, and the number of "bits" it supports.

For example A "256mb"  vga card with GPU running at 300MHz and ram speed running at 450MHz is not going
to perform well with a "128mb" or" 64mb"  vga card  if their GPU runs a 500MHz and ram speed running at 1GHz (1,000MHz).

Woa.************ who I use often comes up with this when searching for San Andreas:

This search query has been blocked at the request of the copyright holder, in compliance with
the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA")

And another site I use for torrents appears to be "down".

Meh, screw it.

Rockstar are one of the few companies that have actually made games worthy of my money, and they can come to my house and see the various legally purchased GTA games I have.

Like I said, as if I would buy the same game twice :P

Here's what you do. Take the PS2 copy, and light it on fire. The smoke from the fire will cause the smoke detectors to get set off. Now what you do, is spread the fire using house hold items, such as a tea kettle, or slice of bread. Once the fire is nice and roaring, call the Fire Dept. and say Mr.T ran in and did the crime.

Your insurance will have to pay you a fee of at least $250,000, in accordance with the Mr.T - Fire act of '91. All that's left to do is buy yourself a new place, some furnature/clothing, and a new PC and SA.

Edit: I also have 666 posts right now...

If you haven't already bought it on PS2, I would encourage you to buy it for PC, since it's one of very few games these days worthy of the asking price.

Personally, I'm 25% done ;)
