| "In the early 1970s, the OPEC Oil Crisis, which involved angry Texans with 12-gauges, Saudis with bored death-squads, and 75 fafillion barrels of Middle Eastern oil, drove the price of gasoline up a wall. Americans were going to build a ladder, but there was a Union problem, so they decided to ignore it completely and continue to manufacture ginormous land yachts. Mewish Vehicles was one of the many US carmakers that figured that rich, well-to-do Americans still didn't give a fuck how much gas costed, and enjoyed having a vehicle capable of driving comfortably on long trips and backing over pesky hippies. MV continued in their tradition of bulky luxury cars with the 1977 restyle of their flagship Despot line. At 4199 pounds and 19 feet long, this beast is more than capable of GOURANGA at high speeds."
After several attempts, I have (in my opinion) crafted a car which does not suck. w00t. The inspiration is from my own 1979 Cadillac Coupe Deville.
