I think I saw a couple of tram track junction lines missing.  (175,151) and the one above it, for example.  There are two sets of tram tracks; you may need to scour both of them to be sure you have caught all of those DMA texture omissions.

How about creating traffic light zones at the junctions which normally have traffic lights?  All the ones with the special pedestrian crossing lines had traffic lights, IIRC.

Checkpoint in the far South-east of the map is now on the pavement instead of the road.  They checkpoints for 2-lane roads should be 4 cubes across so that you can get them by driving on the pavement.  For a similar reason, checkpoints on 4-lane roads should be 6 cubes across  It's such a classic technique in GTA to drive on the pavement that it becomes yet another compelling reason why the checkpoints should be bigger. tongue

The white fences stopped you from killing yourself in GTA1 but in GTA2 they just stop you from doing stunts.  If the host sets time limit  to anything other than zero then the check points remaining counter is not displayed.  To work around that, you could ADD the check points remaining counter multiple times during the game.  If you use the score to display how many check points each player has done then they can just work out how many remaining.

For sound, you need to copy bil.sdt to sanb.sdt and bil.raw to sanb.raw.  Copy, paste, rename..

edit:  Leave in the audio folder :)

I did, as it said in the readme, and it didn't work.

Was I supposed to leave those in the Audio directory? I thought the readme meant to copy, rename, and move to the data dir.

All .sdt and .raw are supposed to be inside your GTA2dataAudio directory. It does say copy and paste and rename smile.
