This removes the arrows that point to players, from the multiplayer map Tiny Town.  It doesn't overwrite any files, you can still play with arrows by running the normal Tiny Town map.  Without arrows, aiming requires more skill and you have to be a lot more careful.  It takes longer to find players, which means a slower game but it's fun for a change and it reduces spawn kills.  For extra challenge, you could untick "Show player names" but it's hard enough already.

1. Extract all files to your GTA2 data folder
2. Run no_arrow_install.bat from your GTA2 data folder
3. Select Tiny Town no arrow on the map select screen

To uninstall run no_arrow_uninstall.bat

Interesting... you should only keep this for Tiny Town (or small ones) and not to use it on the larger maps!

To make it extremely impossible...

1) Remove the arrows (like you have done)
2) Remove player names
3) Change the players remaps to civilians!

Then have fun  smilewinkgrin

It uses a modifed copy of bil.sty, so it could easily be used with Industrial but you'd never find your opponent on such a large map.  I will release a script that makes the players look like peds, fortunately I already have a .mis that's an almost perfect recreation of the original Tiny Town scripts, so I can just add to that.  I played a few games with names removed.  If the player drives like the AI, they aren't easy to spot and if they get a gang pickup, you have to guess which gang member they are.  Sometimes the gang members get left behind and walk around randomly, makes for some fun surprises.  Using the ALT key to look around is essential without arrows.

you could show the arrow when the players are too far away and hide it when they get close.. but that would require using phone arrows..

Actually, I think you could use the command "IS_ITEM_ACCURATELY_ONSCREEN ( item )" and make it check for the other players. But, everyone can see all arrows, so not sure if that can be done!

Otherwise, nice idea, and pretty nasty if you're not expecting a rocket to fly at you from a crowd of peds  tongue
