    I am creating a multiplayer map in GTA2 where each player wakes up with pedestrians, an instant-gang logo and a car to carry the gang in. The gang seem to act as normal in following the player around but when they get in a car the gang members do not get in with them dispite the car being able to hold them.

    Any advice would be appreciated and hopefully I can post this map once I'm finished.

    Instant gang members won't get in precreated cars, just a weird part of the game.  You could create characters that follow the player at the start of the game, they should be able to get in parked cars.  I'll help with the code if you need it.

      Cheers, is there a way to generate cars that gang members could get in?

       Could you (or anyone) post the code to that or the code to create a gang-like group of of followers who could get in generated cars.

      My map is basically a 2/3/4 player 'King Of The HIll' once you start you get a gang (and hopefully a car) and meet in the middle where the 'Hill' is, as you enter your points begin to climb the longer you are on the hill the more points you get.

      Everything works thusfar other than these annoying gang members.

      I have also produced a race map based mainly on Bernaarrs Race, i have in effect doubled the length with lots of other features.

      Hi there.

      My advice for you is that when a player goes to a certain area (so you check X,Y and Z co-ordinates) you spawn characters on-screen (or off-screen). Give these guys whatever remap, weapons and fluff you need them to have (so instead of having dual-pistols like normal gangers, you could have anything you want!). After that, you add a group to the player (ADD_GROUP_TO_CHARACTER ( playername , 0 )) and then add the created characters to his group (ADD_EXISTING_CHAR_TO_GROUP ( playername , charactername )). Once done, you can set the threat searches, threat reactions and all sorts. Whatever the player does, they'll do as well (up to a point).
