hi, im making a car for gta2, and ive used photoshop for past cars ive made, but only used the basic tools making them. the problem i have is when shading, i use the color table i find it hard to find a similar color easily. i saw that you could make a 'gradient line' to help, but it isnt available in indexed color.

my question is: can i change from indexed color to rgb and back without having any problems later on when importing the car into styed?

thanks!

Nope, in PSP you can reapply old palette with custom best color matching methods but i dunno abput photoshop.

the best way would be to use my sty editor and add more unique palettes to the game for your custom cars.

ive done it, but i really like to use the in-game palettes so i can see the remaps (even though the colors are ugly).

Can't you add like an infinite amout of palettes with delfis program though? If so, just add lots of remaps and palette hacks etc and it's easily possible.

Just add loads of pallettes and then define it to use those pallettes.

For pallette hacking, do it as you would for gta 1, however just save the individual pallette files for the hacks and import them instead - then set the car to use the hacks pallettes and should work :)

Cheers, Daniel
