Good, now that I have your attention.

Does anyone remember the cartoon network for the early 90's? I recall a show being on that was like He-Man where the world had ended in 1994 and everyone had swords and shields and the sort. It must have been '92 or '93 because I was scared shitless of 1994, just in case....

What was it called????

The only other thing I can remember of it was that the moon was split in two pieces if that helps jog anyones memory.

Thanks,
Bryan

I wonder if it's still on. Just downloaded an episode WITH NO 'EFFIN SOUND. Looks quite shit in retrospect. I must have been one easily entertained kid...

Searching for the show got me all nostalgic, who else remembers tv from that period? Shows like Battletech, M.A.S.K., Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Dino the last Dinosaur, RudeDog and the Dweebs, C.O.P.S., Bucky 'O Haire and Centaurians.

I believe MC Hammer and New kids on the block had their own shows (showing my age here)

Ahh, memories of a lost childhood....

dino, the last dinosaur, he's my friend and a whole lot more (?)

rudedog and the dweebs, hey dudes get rude (so so lame)

Bucky, Captain Bucky O'Haire, goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare (if your righteous indignation, has taken a hit..)

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors was the schiznit though. Right up there with Ulysses 31, although I was a bit older then and didn't spawn half as many freaky ass dreams as that Odyssey  thingy..

Holy shit M.A.S.K was awesome.

Two more if anyone can remember in the same style and around the same year:

The one about 3 dudes who would wear suits with big holes that they could attach different pieces to so they could FLY or GO UNDERWATER shit like that.

Another one about these humans about 5 of them that flew around in space and had awesome action adventures, one time they got captured and sent to a planet that was nothing but a spaceship graveyard and had to build there way out.

10 points if you can remember that one, I can?t remember much else about it myself!

The 3 dudes was Centurions I think. The blue guy was called Ace, and could fly. The green guy had a moustache. Dodgy..

Other one sounds vaguely like battlehawks, or was it battle of the plants, I know which one I mean anyway..

Name that show, win a, er, cookie..

Three suns aligned pour forth their light, and fill the archer's bow with might!

And now googling, you big girls.

By what creeps and crawls, by what does not. Let all that grows recede and rot.

Can't remember any more :). But then it was, what, 1989 ish?

    happy to help ;)

My best mate as a kid had the action figures, sort of actionman (er, GI Joe for yon yankies) size with loads of attachable extras. Way cool. I think one was called Jake. Possibly.

And no Disco, not knights of the anything light..

I saw some kids tv the other day, and I swear 80's cartoons were far superior. Sure you had the whole moral guidance bollocks thrown in at the end of them all (remember Mask where they used to have an epilogue?), and there's the whole nostalgia thing to consider, but they were just so much more inventive and original. Todays toss just seems to regurgitate it all in an inferior way.
