| As this scene is intended to be the opening scene for a longer movie (which will be done about 2018, considering our working progress so far), it doesn't even make much sense if you understand german. The story so far (taken from some wierd Indiana Jones book, that apparently only appeared in Germany): Due some wierd time gap or something similar, Sir Lancelot (the lego man with the sword) gets into Indiana Jones' present time (which is about 1940), accidentally crashes into the german submarine and thus gets captured by the Nazis. That's about everything this scene shows. The story then continues with Indiana Jones getting involved and trying to free Lancelot etc...
the dialogue, translated:
Guy with goggles: "It seems as if there's nothing, Herr Kaleun, nothing in sight" Captain: "Hold position!" (mumbles): "We should have had contact an hour ago" (loud) "Bridge to sonar:" Voice from inside sub: "Nothing to hear, Herr Kaleun" Goggle guy: "Captain! There's fog coming from south-east! I've never seen something like that!" Goggle guy again: "Captain! Something is coming out of the fog!" Captain: "Goddamn. We can't be discovered here! Guards!" Captain: "Arrest those two, however they might be. We can't release them until we are further away from the coast so that we're save when they alert the royal navy." (swordfight) Soldiers: "Jawohl, Kapit?n Leutnant!" (one-armed soldier breaks down) Captain: "What's going on down there? M?ller! Schorbecke!" (shots) "Whats up there?" (mg shooting) Captain: "Don't fire until I say so!" (more shooting)
(note: Kapit?n Leutnant or in short "Kaleun" is the proper rank of german submarine captain.) So you see, as it was intended to be a scene that will be explained later in the movie, it really doesn't work like that, alone. Also, all the dialogue was just provisonal, and I was a bit hungover when we recorded it. ------------------ -temporary placeholder for a new cool signature-
