Hello.

Now post your top 10 movies of all time because I am interested to know, I suspect that your lists will not be that different from mine:

10    Reservoir Dogs
9    American Histroy X
8    Se7en
7    Casino
6    Die Hard
5    Scarface
4    Goodfellas
3    The Untouchables
2    Pulp Fiction
1    Spoiler:
The Shawshank redemption

Yes I know there are a lot of ?mob? movies in that list, but they always turn out to have the best acting / story.

Yeah this is a tough one, i tend to break it down into category but i am too lazy this time.

10 - Them! (The classic B-movie that is)
9 - The Running Man
8 - Full Metal Jacket
7 - The French Connection
6 - The Terminator
5 - Vanishing Point
4 - The Thing
3 - Total Recall
2 - The Empire Strikes Back
1 - One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Yeah that was a tough list to compile, and Touge there are some mighty films in your runner up list. They Live is one of my personal favourites as well.

There are obviously the legendary kids films as well. Willow, Time Bandits, Uncle Buck. In fact there are just too many to list.

Yes Top 10 is hard, the more that I think about the more that The Usual Suspects should really be in there.

I have a massive runners up list to! Including but not limited to:  Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Ronin, The Score, Back To the Future, Terminator, Godfather, Fight Club, From Hell, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Sleepy Hallow, Blow, Heat, Football Factory, Gangs Of New York, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, 12 Monkeys, Home Alone, Uncle Buck, Lord of War, Thank you for smoking, Bad Eggs, Crackerjack, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Carlitos Way, The Warriors, Three Kings, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club....

Surprised to see a few of them NOT get a mention so far.

I'm kind of annoyed I couldn't fit: Hard Boiled, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Loud QUIET Loud, License to Kill, Raw Deal, The Dollars Trilogy, Dirty Harry, Fight Club and Star Trek III: The Search For Spock.

Probably a load more otherwise as well.

Well, Wrath Of Khan is in my top ten, as you can see. It's there simply because it has everything, adventure, action, some great character moments, a tear jerking closing scene. It's a movie that, like all of the ones in my top ten, if I catch it on telly, even if it's almost halfway through, I'm still hooked from that point until the end credits.

Search For Spock I would have liked in there simply because although it doesn't really have much of a finale to it, once again, it has some brilliant character moments and also pretty much sums up why I liked Kirk much more than Picard and those that followed. Picard is bound by the rules and the federation, Kirk smashes the rules, goes renegade.

Also, III has another great pair of tear jerkers. The destruction of the original and best Enterprise and "Klingon bastards killed my son..." Alright, the latter is kind of cheesy, but I like Shatners acting there. What sells it for me is when he falls backwards, tripping over the chair.

300 might not be the worst movie ever, but I can't believe how many people hold it in high regard. After the first 45 minutes, all I could think was "I would walk out if I hadn't paid nine dollars to sit here". I think that if they hung up an oil painting of a giant turd (or a naked man) in the theater and let people stare at it for four hours, nobody would know the difference.
