| The show was at Hennessy, which is a world famous tuning shop for Vipers and Corvettes and other shit. Back in the early 2000's there was a scandal where the shop was taking the customers cars (and their 10's of thousands of dollars), and instead of souping up their cars, the shop would sell their engines, transmissions, hoods, and whatnot, use those funds to work on preferred customers cars (or maybe just embezzle it) and then give the screwed customer the runaround for months about how their car "isn't done yet".
It was fun to speculate that maybe this was the remains of some screwed-over customer's parted out car, but more than likely, it was probably totaled on the dragstrip, then abandoned for some reason. Maybe it was one of the shop's test mules or something.
Oh, it's also worth mentioning that it isn't just a normal Dodge Viper, it's a Hennessy Venom 700R.
Here's something somebody told me about it: "LOL at that 2002 Dodge Viper with the Jersey tags MVR-18P. Just ran it in my DMV computer at work and its been expired since 2006".
So it's been rotting there since 2006. Strange, because the trunk, quarter panels, roof, and headlights still seem good. Weird that exotic car parts would just be left out to waste instead of being parted out.
Right behind it was another rotting, totaled Viper. This one was completely beyond recognition:

Only from the interior door handle could I confirm that it's the newer-model (post 2003) Dodge Viper SRT-10 convertible. ------------------
