Jags look great, but they're seriously unreliable, poorly built cars. I can see the temptation but you'd be wise to avoid it.

Maybe you should get a hot hatch with big horsepower and FWD, or are you too old for them?

See I am tempted by a hot hatch, but most of my journeys will be motorway once I move and it's just not worth the effort. Hard ride, noisy engines, lack of gadgets that make life easier. I used to get everywhere knackered in my c2, not really what I want. Genuinely think I've grown out of them : Golfs are nice enough, just a little plain. I quite like the Leon Cupra, but that doesn't really tick any of the boxes other than being batshit. The hope is the company will make me rich in a couple of years and I can buy something awesome, until then I need something sensible that ignores weather, eats motorways and doesn't fuck my wallet.
