Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 3,063	I found something pretty comical while looking through old junk on this board. was looking for something on the board from a long time ago- an image of a big parking lot, that our custom made GTA cars would appear in. I thought it was made by Toumai, so I was looking through his old topics, when I came across this thread: forums.gtazz.com/topic/1180/ Two posts down, you'll see an admittedly ill-worded post from myself, followed by a retort from JRS21. That sparked my memory, and I recalled a ridiculous PM exchange from back in the day. Now, all I really meant was that Toumai, around this time, had made a lot of rectangular vehicles. Taken aback by that reply, the eager young n00b like I was, wanted to clarify to him what I said. I went back to find the conversation and screencapped it: I can't stop laughing about how polite and sensible I'm trying to be, and how ridiculously confrontational he is! But seriously, I remember at the time this exchange really bothered me. In general, I think it's one thing to ostracize a forum member if they're saying something stupid or being insulting and confrontational to others, but it seems out of line to be so unnecessarily harsh for no reason. It just shows a real lack of character, to be such a prat toward someone who's shown you no animosity, and to just refuse to be reasonable. After his last ridiculous reply listing the "reasons" why he had a problem with me, I realized there was no way to talk to this kid in a sensible, adult-like manner and just ignored him. But anyway, I don't think I ever fully appreciated the irony of how this guy was acting like he wasn't being a huge prick, acting like a little primary-school schoolyard bully! ------------------
