| I have a real love/hate relationship with my car, so I'm always daydreaming about what car I would buy to replace it if I have the money. It needs to be a reliable daily driver, and as such needs to be brand new.
Sometimes I think there are no new cars today that I like, and then some days, like today, I'm struck with an overwhelming pang for what I can't have.
A real contender for my next new car is the upcoming Toyota FT-86 which is currently still a concept (it's going to be released in America as the Scion FT-S). But as we haven't seen the production version yet, I'll leave that out.
What's got me all worked up this morning is the prospect of a Camaro. I don't know why. Yeah, I've always liked the Camaro, but I've never liked this new one. In fact, I've hated it. In fact, after the lukewarm ownership experience of my current Chevrolet, I've vowed never to by another GM car, at least not one from this generation.
So, what's changed? I have no idea. I just woke up this morning lusting after the thing.
The other car I would consider is the 2011 Subaru WRX. Obviously, the Subaru is better in every conceivable way. But the Camaro just has some X factor that the WRX doesn't.
Now, if I had the Camaro, it would be the V6, not the V8. However, it's a 312 horsepower V6, so that's no slouch. I'd lower it, throw on some black 20" wheels, put on rear window louvers, and maybe do this billet grille treatment.
With louvers:

With the grille:

And it would be nice to get this optional factory-stock bodykit (though if anything, I'd have to get it aftermarket and have it put on myself:

And of course, the Subaru. It would be the base WRX- not the STI. I'd definitely get the wagon- I'm not even considering the sedan- and I'd put either gold or gunmetal wheels on it.

So, hypothetically, what should I choose? ------------------
