    Duke Nukem' 3D was one of my all-time favorites as a kid.

    Never thought it'd take this long to get a sequel (and never thought I'd ever see one).

    		It ain't perfect, but I'm enjoying it a lot. The whole "Two Weapons ONLY" thing is a bit annoying, but what the hell, I just got to a dream sequence, set in a strip club.

    Mission objective: Find popcorn, a dildo and a condom. Seriously.

    If your having fun with it I can't fault the game, but it's not the sort of thing I need to rush out and buy at full price.

    Due to it's ultra delayed then rushed development cycle I'm going to wait till it's in the bargain bin.

    		I'd actually say that's wise. It's not exactly BESTEST GAME EVER. Some bits (BASTARD FUCKING TURRETS) are a pain in the arse. It's certainly not Daikatana 2 as most of the reviews I've read seem to think. Very flawed, but never mind, I'm having a laugh so far and I got somebody to split the price.

    The hive level is fucking tasteless as hell though, even for Duke.

    		Finished it. Best final battle since Duke 3D and for all the flaws, well worth getting to. A big, dumb, idiotic b-movie of a game. The professional reviews are all absurd, ignore them.

    Right. I'm getting me some Orange Box and a copy of Portal 2. I really think it's about time I caught up a bit.

    		Well it got alot of "Meh.." reviews from gamesites which is what I expected.

    Let it be known I played the Original Duke so I'm very aware of what I'm in for with the sequel, I’m very much expecting a dumb no brains corridor shooter.

    Still yet to play bulletstorm talking of shooters, that game looks to out-duke the duke.

    Portal 2 very good, invite a mate around and play the co-op it's even better then the solo game in my Opinion (less story driven gameplay, more puzzels)

    Portal was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Episode 1 is already a fun voyage. More of the same, but when that same is so good, why not?

    		Keep revisiting this topic. Portal 1 was fried gold. Started on 2 this evening once HLE2 was out of the way.

    It's really charming. I love Steven Merchant. I love the soundtrack.

      		Yeah Valve know their shit for story driven games.

      Playing though Bioshock for the firs time, graphics are still very impressive and the atmosphere is amazing.

      Just wish the bad guys had a bit better A.I. So they don't run around like headless chickens in a gun fight.  Also a bit of stealth would be nice: when you hide in a dark shadowy corner it should be the crazies don’t' imminently know where you are.

      		Wow, what a finish. I have to say, that's the first time I've been as emotionally engaged by a game since... A fucking long time. Oh, Wheatley. Oh, GladOS. Oh, JK Simmons. It's all so loveable and clever and the sense of humour is right up my alley.

      FACT SPHERE, I LOVE YOU.

      Couple every good point with some of the best sound design, above and beyond even Silent Hill 2... Yeah, Silent Hill 2 has worse sound design, I FUCKING SAID IT. The sound design in Portal 2 makes the Silent Hill games sound like a series of armpit fart noises. That's strong coming from somebody who worships at the gigantic glitter coated schlong of Akira Yamaoka.
