| Oh goody, I LOVE these kinds of threads. :D
Another link between Vice City and GTA3 is that Donald Love, an apprentice to the property magnate Avery Carington moves on to create a successful media buisiness that owns literally all of the radio stations in Liberty City. Now what's interesting is that Donald Love has taken on Avery's motto of 'nothing brings down real estate prices like a good ol' fashioned gang war'.
El Burro starts off as a boss with homosexual tendencies in the seconds San Andreas level ("Tequila Slammer"); and then moves on to Liberty City as the gang leader of the Diablos.
Now on a sidenote, I personally am inclined to believe that El Burro and Fernando (host of "Emotion 98.3" and Fernando's New Beginnings) are one and the same. I know I'm probably wrong, but I have been convinced of this ever since Fernando admitted to kissing a donkey on Chatterbox. 'nuff said 'bout that.
Finally.. from Grand Theft Auto 2, the conglomerate 'Zaibatsu' gang were claimed to be involved with everything from drug dealling to politics, so it wouldn't come to much of a suprise that the Maibatsu motor company, famous for the 'Maibatsu Thunder' in the mid-80's and 'Maibatsu Monstosity' in the early 00's, would be just a legitimate front to this immense underground organisation.
And yes, I do take my GTA waaay too seriously. :p |
