Fordy Grrrrr Joined: Feb '03 Posts: 1,049	Ok we all know what a nova is and we all know what a metro is, im making this to see what the majority think, my mate who drives a metro thinks novas are shite, i like them i know lots hate them but i think most people would hate metros rather than novas, so which is beter? ------------------

'Tis a MG 6R4, and it's a little beast to be sure. Okay, it might not be the prettiest set of wheels around, but daymn, can they move. What can I say, I'm always the supporter of the underdog. Plus all the townies around me spend all their giro's butchering those poor little Vauxhalls so they have a bit of a bad rep around my area. :) I guess i'm a minority here though, lol! Yes, under all that chunky bodywork, grilles, spoilers and intakes, is a Metro. 'Tis a MG 6R4, and it's a little beast to be sure.

Okay, it might not be the prettiest set of wheels around, but daymn, can they move.

Deleted Member	i'm the one with the metro, and yes the one who thinks nova's r shite ;D i had my metro for free, its a 1.4gs, leather seats,c/l , e/w and alot faster than the nova he wants to buy (don't own yet ;) ) my argument is my car was free, and is faster! can't go wrong........... so which would u prefer??? vote now!

I find Novas amusing. I have immense amounts of sympathy for anyone who has the misfortune to own one. Just because you can make the road shake doesn't mean you car can go. I burn Novas off most days, usually because the twats in them are too busy looking at my tailgate to change gear, or because they have so much extra plastic they weigh 3 tons.

Metro's aren't so bad, and they have the added advantage a few strong lads can pick one up and move it, which is highly amusing when the bemused owner comes out of school to find it pointing the other way.

Or something.

The Rover ones (late eighties, not the Rover 100 ones) looked a little nicer though. They're almost stylish in White/Black two tone, or a deep yellow. Like I said, I've gone off Nova's because I'm sick and tired of seeing wannabe boy-racers trying to pathetically rev those tiny 1-litre engines at the traffic lights against uninterested competitors. Worst thing is, most of them truly believe that they're sitting in a bad-assed mother powerhouse, when most of the time they're ex-OAP shopping carts with cheap fibreglass add-ons that do nothing but bloat the car and conflict with the original design.
