| I did a load of work in my DT lessons on copyright and patents etc but they seem to have gone from my memory, i think if you take a picture of something you have the copyright of it but im not sure. The copyright page of the U.K patent office website has lots of information about copyright, trade marks and patents etc, check out out its a quality site. ------------------  |

| I have read many places that if it is on the Internet by yourself, it is "copyrighted." But also, there is no such thing as an "Internet copyright." One of my fellow percussionists said that it is automatically copyrighted, and I read a PDF that also said that. The EFF is who takes care of people who take your pictures, graphics, etc. Well it turns out someone took one of my pictures. | Just put a big ole' fat "RYAN L" across all of your pictures. Digital watermark, they call it, or something of the such. People might still jack your pics, but then they have to uglify it by going into MSpaint and trying to hide the havoc you let on the corner of your pic. ------------------   |

| If you want to prove you own the copyright to something, print it out with your name, put it in an envelope and mail it to yourself. The name proves you made it and the date stamped on the enveloped proves when you made it. Because it's sealed it can't have been messed with. If you ever need to show you made something you have all the details to prove it. ------------------  |
