Well, hmm, If it were c++ it was alot easier...
      But it's Perl. ;)
Though I'm sure there most be a solution.
what do you mean by hogging cpu (or whatever) ?

I think that releatively, it works quite fast, altough it has thoushands of records in a flat database.

Help me, now why would it be giving me this error after I try and upload a car?

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------
      Car Submittion Error
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------
      The following error has occured:
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------
Can't upload file (Blue_hills.png), No such file or directory.
       ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------
?Car Manager Copyright 2000, Idan Robbins (aka Aqutiv), All rights reserved
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------

It does it for both gif and png files, here you try it, see if you can get past the "Beast"

you haven't done on eof the following

a.) created a cars folder in the cgi-bin where carmanager is
b.) haven't chmodded the folders all correctly
c.) and maybe your host doesn't support ssi?
      d.) can't think of anymore

and toumai if you have the upload script in "www" folder or you public_html then you have to edit the script to tell it where the cgi file that it uses is

k toumai this is what should be in the one place to call the script.....

      ./cgi-bin/carmanager/CarUpload.cgi

where carmanager is where the car the cars script is...

you installed car lister right cuz you have to install all scripts it says i think.....

and make sure you chmod the cars dir to 777 or 755 not sre but remember that part lol

ps the cars folder goes in the cgi-bin

I did all of that plus more, and it still didn't work.

      But screw Carmanager, because I have a php uploader now  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

      Oh, sorry Aqutiv....

ps. All I wanted Carman for was the upload script.

[Edit - There we go, all done  :Y ]
