Do not post questions or requests in this thread. I will attempt to moderate this thread to clean it up a bit. When possible put the mission title at the top of your post in BOLD so it's easier to identify (see my first tip for an example) I created this thread to make finding VC mission tips easier. You don't have to post them here if you don't want to. Basically this is my copout way of making a VC Tips list. I will link to this thread in my Tips & Cheats section on GOURANGA! Once again, please only post VC MISSION TIPS here. That means anything from a full mission walkthrough to a useful tip on how to accomplish a particular mission (this includes robberies, timed, and side missions (taxi, paramedic, fire, pizza, vigilante, etc)). This thread is for VC MISSION TIPS ONLY! Please do not respond to other people's tips. If you don't like someone's tip, just post your own version. Do not post questions or requests in this thread. I will attempt to moderate this thread to clean it up a bit. When possible put the mission title at the top of your post in BOLD so it's easier to identify (see my first tip for an example)

I created this thread to make finding VC mission tips easier. You don't have to post them here if you don't want to. Basically this is my copout way of making a VC Tips list. I will link to this thread in my Tips & Cheats section on GOURANGA!

Once again, please only post VC MISSION TIPS here. That means anything from a full mission walkthrough to a useful tip on how to accomplish a particular mission (this includes robberies, timed, and side missions (taxi, paramedic, fire, pizza, vigilante, etc)).

Please post all questions in the VC Q&A Thread.

First I saved at the mansion with a police car in my garage so every time I reloaded it was ready to go. I also had an UZI with plenty of ammo and I had full armor/full health so I'd be ready to go if I had to reload. Anyway, basically the best way I found to do it was to ram their barricade with the police car (aim for the front or back end of the car so it spins around when you hit it), I then tried to run over all the guys in that opening area. Then I jumped out and started shooting everyone in the opening area with my UZI (make sure you keep re-targeting with R1 so you get them quickly). After that initial area was clear I worked my way in slowly trying to re-target so I could see them more easily (doing the mission in daylight also helps). If I spotted someone I stopped and kept shooting at long range to take them down before they reached me. They usually comes in waves of 4 or 5... I'd work my way up to Lance this way and by the time I got there everyone was dead. After getting Lance I jumped in the Trashmaster garbage truck and bashed all the cars that came after on the way there. By the time I got to the hospital I had blown them all up. Just be carful not to blow up the truck or Lance will probably die if you don't get clear of the explosion. When you pull up to the hospital make sure you position the truck so the passenger side door is right next to the pink marker so Lance steps right into it. I found if I drove a car into their central area that I had to deal with guys coming from all sides, whereas if I entered from the front on foot I knew which way they were coming from and I could shoot them well before they even made it to me. Golf Course Mission Tip (can't remember the damn name of the mission ) If you are having trouble with this one you might want to try this trick. Move up to your target and then take all the golf carts and move them away from the driving range. You might even try ditching them in the water. That way when he takes off running he'll never reach a cart in time to get away and you won't have to chase after his ass. Golf Course Mission Tip (can't remember the damn name of the mission

If you are having trouble with this one you might want to try this trick. Move up to your target and then take all the golf carts and move them away from the driving range. Four Iron
Leave this mission until you get onto the second island. Buy a sniper rifle. Loose Ends

The fifth and final assassination mission can be a real pain when you have to run the gaunlet of goon's with SMG's and try and get to the roof of cherry poppers icecream to get the drugs

That was until I worked out this cunning plan, for which you'll need a helicoptor and a sniper rifle.

Using the chopper land next to the phone and take the call, activating the mission. Instead of entering the compound by the gate as usual, get back in the chopper and fly slightly to the east.

There's a rooftop just north of the Cherry Popper factory, land your chopper on top. Just south there is a lower roof with a rampage icon on it.

Drop onto the lower roof and quickly ready your sniper rifle. You should be able to see the goons below spot on the rooftop where the drugs and getaway chopper are.

Pick these guys off (it's unlikely they'll hit you) with the sniper rifle. Now you can take your time and kill the goons down in the compound, there's no danger as their weapons don't have the range to hit you.

Switch to fists and back up against the wall, facing the lower roof where the goodies lie. Sprint and then jump the gap, landing onto the roof below.

Grab the briefcase full of sweeties, hop in the chopper they've thoughtfully provided and you're away!!

Don't forget to pick the the hidden package on the helipad you land on.

Push all of the golf carts in the water except for one. Move that one further back. Then, run on the platform. As soon as the guy says "take out this psyhco" hop in the cart. Run over the security, then mow over the target. easy as pie. ------------------

This was a tough one. I died dozens of times trying to plow in the front gate and by trying to sneak in the back.

I did the pizza mission to build up my health. Then after buying the Hyman condo, I use a helechopter to first get to the junkyard, then I dropped into the middle, near the trash truck. KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE...
To finish the last mission easy then do the following.
Get a python, and a rocket launcher.

When the mission starts and u protect ur safe. stand on top of the stairs with the python and constantly press and hold R1 until the gun aims at an enemy,then shoot them.

Do this until the Lance cutscene. Then follow him upstairs to the roof, and dont try to kill anyone on the way, its a waste of bullets. When u get to the top, go left and take the adrenaline pill. Then quickly run up to the helipad. Use the armour or health cheat if u need it.

Then go by the fence on the helipad and aim and shoot with python. When there is one left go down to their level and shoot them.

Then run back downstairs and go back to the safe. Once again dont waste ur bullets. This opens the Sonny Forelli cutscene.

From here, if you tried killing sonny and his guards with any other weapon you'd be dead instantly, as the guards have good accuracy. Now get out your rocket launcher.

From the top of the stairs, use the rockets to blow the area is person is in. After about 4 shots youve done it, then there is a cutscene and you have completed the storyline!!!!

Hunter for Vigilante Missions
Once you get the Hunter (you could learn all about it if I still had my Helicopter locations, but I got tore and lost it...no offense schu) you start doing Vigilante Missions (called Brown Thunder). Go near the airport and then there are people all over airport. They drive in vans, cars, and lots of vehicles. Simply use your machine gun by pressing R1 to shoot, or O to shoot missiles. Every once in a while there will be another vehicle that will be outside of that. Just go and blow that up and then go back to the airport! I'm sads.

No Escape
there is an extremly easy way to do "no escape", the first mishion for the mallibu. first go in and shot the three guys behind the counter and the holding cell gard. the go upstairs and shot those people and get the card. go out of the police station and run to the nearest car and go to a pay and spray without cam jones. the get all the health you might need and go back to break cam out. if you did this right you willnot even get ont star unles you shot a police offecer this way you dont get cam killed and you dont have to run as fast.

No Escape
Another way to pass "no escape" is to put on a cop uniform. You can walk right into the police station, nobody notices you there. When you go upstairs to get the key, there is also a hidden package in one of the offices. Go down stairs to free Jones, and get a weapon ready. You'll have to shoot your way out. Once you get outside drive to a pay'n spray with Jones in the car. You'll loose your wanted level, and will have no problem passing the mission.

Cherry Poppers
An easy way to beat the Cherry Popper's asset mission is to drive to the beach on the first Island. Don't turn on your sirens yet. When you get on the acutual beach turn your sirens on. Then stop and get customers. Stay on the beach till you get 60 drug deals. When you get one police star drive away. Drive away no matter how many customers you have. After awhile the star will disappear. Then stop and get more customers.

Drive your ICT (ice cream truck) to the Viceport boat yard south of the Icecream Asset. Park in front of the Pay and Spray located in the boat yard and turn on the jingle (L3). Stay located there until you get 2 stars, then drive in and spray your ICT. Stay inside the spray shop until the stars are done flashing. Don't worry about the people that run inside to keep buying from you. While in the spray shop, the cops don't seem to care. When your stars are gone, back out to where you are blocking the intersection and keep selling. I never had to relocate.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELEY EASY WAY TO BEAT THIS MIsSION!!!!! wait till the convoy gets to the police station. The convoy will stop, and someone will yell "Private, run out and get us some doughnuts!" another guy will go "yes sir!". The moron will jump out of the tank and run in to the diner. The tank will be unlocked!! Jump in, blast everybody to kingdom come and then its smooth sailing. I never noticed this 4 some reason, but then again i never was patient enuff to let the tank get to the diner.

G-Spotlight
In the last mission for the Film Studio 'G-Spotlight'. What you do is you start the mission, go to the PCJ 600 and take it. Drive to the pink dot. Go up to elevator. go jump out the window and there should be a helicopter. Take that helicopter and touch every pink dot on the map. Then you should finish the mission. But the problem is that there is a lot of Unique jumps on the way. But do the way I told you and go back and do the jumps later in the game. If you use the helicopter you can finish way under the time limit. Also thnx to D-caf for telling me that. The credit should go to him.

Sometimes people try spinning him out, but I don't think that works. Just try to get the inside of the marker, but watch out for trees, poles, etc. Keep practicing and keep the gas running. Some other people also say to put on the "Cars Fly" cheat ... but I haven't tried that. You can use the sidewalks when necessary. So as long as you don't crash, or spin out you should be able to stay up with him. And on a strait away you might be able to even pass him. Also at the first turn by the police station is a good spot to spin him out. Just ram the side of his car, and you should be able to get enough of a leed on him, so that he stays behind you. And on a strait away you might be able to even pass him. Also at the first turn by the police station is a good spot to spin him out.
