As you may have seen over on  G! we're looking for some more help. Here's the gumph, post here or drop me an email if you're interested.

Want to be involved with one of the biggest GTA domains on the net? Well there's a coincidence, because we have another position open.

We are launching a new site dedicated to providing the GTA series community with all the vital resources they need. From GTA1 mods to GTA2 utilities to Vice City editors (eventually. we hope). And so we're looking for a volunteer to administer this site for us. The role would basically involve uploading and maintenance of the file database, along with anything else they feel inclined to suggest.

Due to the nature of this position I'm afraid we have to request the person have broadband internet access; upload rates of 4k/sec just won't cut it. Not if we want the site running this year.

If you're interested in lending a hand, getting something shiny for your CV/resume and generally want to be affiliated with lots of nice people (namely schu and myself amongst many others) then drop me an email at the address below and we'll go from there.

At the moment we only need one person, but dependant on the popularity of the site and workload this may change in the future.

Wow, we're getting a great response on this. Keep your applications coming, I'll post a closing date as soon as I make one up.

Then we just have to sift through the dozens of applications to find one lucky punter. Why couldn't you lot have made it easy and just one of you applied? :)

Well, iv been around a while, i know my gta, im like the guy from the forums who never made a car, a map or a mod. I know the net, i can upload things, keep order etc.  Your probably not what im looking for but someone had to replay aye!

Btw id recomend someone like Dup or valdez, people who have experience with cars and gta sites, but again i am interested cos i spend to much time on the net anf get bored!

I'll do it... I have cable, a small collection of shitty GTA1, 2 and 3 cars, a decent rep here on the forums, enough time to do the things needed, and not doing anything else (besides RCing) this summer. You know where to find me...

I would've put my neck out but i don't have broadband and cannot get it  :%

If there is anything i can possibly do, follow up mod news, bug fixes and keep in contact with mod makers and programmers, i'll be happy to have a go. A good section always has good news floading around to keep the punters comin back.

I am willing to help with the GTA3 reviews as i know how to model and im good at analising and im willing to install car after car and fix zips etc. I also did some car reviewing down at scraper but it went down and i wasn't invited back. Plus at the time it wasn't popular.

Well, sorry if i may have missed it or any kind of job. I enjoy the GTA Scene and have loved it for years and years  :)

I think Fordy is up for this actually. Hes stood down from sixth form right about now so hes got plenty of time knockin about to get used to the initial heavy uploading and getting used to the system. He bright and he lives in sheep land. Sheep are very important to the GTA scene. Hes a sound lad and he don't fcuk about. Id like to see him doin some work  :))

Hmmm sheep jokes aye...... Anyway what i think would be a good idea is if 2 people ran the site, i recomend myself and dup.  I can do any major uploading and he can do graphic thingimys and ramblings etc.  I think we would make a good team  :Y  We know each other reasonably well, agree on most things, we get along and we both have good knowledge of the internet, the whats and what-nots and we both know about the gta's (dup moddeling more than me and the pc side on things, and me on the ps2 and gameplay side of things!)

Well thats what i think should happen but its not really up to me isit!

yes Tek, we'd love the file vault! I think between your vault and my private collection we probably have all the obscure GTA files ;)

Can you hang on to it for a bit? my email server would die if I not only received it, but then sent it to whoever is going to do the job..

Regarding the job, I've had a shit load of applicants (which is great news), so I'll post a closing date in a day or two, then everyone who has expressed an interest will be contacted with more details. I'll then make up some sort of vicious trail by fire for those still interested :)
