I'm new to The game, and i want to know, how do put cars grom GTAzz, and put it into the GTA 2 files

Hiya. There's a tutorial you can use on the site which should help you with each step: gtazz.com/azz/doku.php?id=gta2:editing:installcars

If you get stuck just ask and I'll do my best to remember how to do things.

Yeah I'm sure, but then the tutorial is probably older than the guy asking for help. If it works then great, afraid I just don't have the time to start rewriting content now.

Can anyone help me? I tryed to put a new car into GTA2, but wenn i Import the Deltas and the Image file, then i want to Import the pal file and it works. But there isnt the pal file shown, there is a horrible skin,  that is more brown & grey.. What am I'm making wrong? forums.gtazz.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

I can't remember much on installing GTA 2 cars either, but the description sounds like a colour palette issue. Anyone still familiar with that stuff?

Don't worry, ignore the rabble of ruffians if they get out of line again, I'll ban the fuck out of them.

The few  left here who did actually make cars haven't done so in ages and even then, only a small amount of people made them for GTA2. Which editor are you using? There was Styed and Delfi's superb editor, which unfortunately came along a while after I'd stopped. I'm trying to wrack my brains thinking of something helpful. If you can find Delfi's editor, it'd make things a lot easier for you. I'll ask him next time I see him on MSN if you like.

I cant find, delfis editor.  At the moment i try to work with the STYed editor, but sometimes when i import a new car,i cant see the right skin, there is a bug i dont know. And this is why asking you  guys for help. Because i already replaced some cars, and it works, but the most that i going to replace are damaged or something, and i cant replace them,to the origin cars.

Did they come with a palette file? If I remember correctly, a few of the cars had their own custom palettes you could slip into the game. On the other hand, some were designed to work in conjunction with the original palettes, mine included.

Oh, the new version of STYed, seems to have a lot more  functions, and power. And it seems tobe easier to put newcars into the game. I'll try it again,and post if something goes wrong again. ;) Thank you guys
