You're funny, not a lazy asshole, a wierd pervert or a total misogynist and your drawings are dynamic and have far too much effort put into them. In all seriousness, that's brilliant. As a sidenote, Tim Buckley's written a story arc of CAD as a 40 somthing page novella. IT'S THE WORST FUCKING THING I'VE EVER READ. He has no control over the written word at all. So many typos. So many useless passages of text and terrible flat jokes that consist of Ethan saying "butt sex". It makes me feel at least a little more confident as a writer. Face it Chris, you don't have it in you to be a real webcomicker. You're funny, not a lazy asshole, a wierd pervert or a total misogynist and your drawings are dynamic and have far too much effort put into them.

In all seriousness, that's brilliant.

Also, you handle cartoony hands quite well, a fuck sight better than I ever could. I'm not saying don't work on that, (you should know better than I that constant practice and self improvement is key to any artistic field...),but I am saying that, to my massively critical eye, those hands are quite adequate. It's nice to see an artist with a knowledge of their own percieved shortcomings though. The second image, I'm interpreting as Balloon Head Ameer bursting and that makes me all sad. :( Pose is good, fucking LOVE that face in the sun, so much character in him. For the most part it feels a little stale, yet another "pot = inspiration" gig, which is quite hypocritical of me I guess, considering I spent a good stretch of 10 years in a constant cloud of weed smoke, rolling around on the floor with a guitar at band practice, clanking out noise and feedback with very little talent and getting nowhere, BUT HEY, I WAS INSPIRED MAN. I like it, it's well realised, but it feels like a bit of a doodle. Fucking classy, top drawer doodle that puts a lot of people who make money out of art to shame, but a doodle none the less. Then again, Kate Beaton's stuff is nothing but loose, sloppy doodling and I love the fuck out of it, so there's no shame there at all.
