I got it to work, someone started shooting at my wood wagon so I shot him in the head. Cock.

Re: GTA V

So I finally managed to get online tonight, finish the first two or three mandatory missions (very easy, third mission is customising a car) and ranked up to level 5. That allowed me to purchase properties and there was one free one (just a simple two car garage) located on the eastern side of LS near a Los Santos Customs. Also my mother is Misty and my father is Niko:

Re: GTA V

No luck playing GTA online so far, it always get's stuck on "waiting for other players" when I try to play the first mandatory mission. Good thing at least is that due to a public holiday here today and having taken the day off tomorrow, I've got a long weekend now.

Umberto robs all the convenience stores. Umberto requires more strange clothes and facial hair but they haven't been unlocked yet.

Re: GTA V

I got to make a character and a first I had some cool Mexican dude but then I changed some settings and couldn't get him back, now my guy looks like an even whiter version of Eminem.

But yeah I'm still stuck at that first mission 'waiting for other players' for over 30 minutes I left it sitting there.

Re: GTA V

Yes, exactly the same thing as for me, after \"waiting for other players\" for like 20 minutes I was fed up and went back to story mode.

Re: GTA V

Well I'm not having too much trouble playing!

There's a mode called 'Top Fun' where one team is escaping on dirt bikes while the other team hunt them down with fighter jets, it's fucking awesome.

Re: GTA V

I *FINALLY* got on, but was only able to do the first mandatory mission (some gay race with a faggot or something).

After that, more timing out.

I hate the character creator, it's extra stupid and always makes you black no matter what you do. So, I made my character do legal work all day, no exercise, and no crime. Now he's white and wears a button-down with a tie. I named him Jeff.

EDIT - in all of my years of speaking English, I still can't fucking spell the word 'exercise' without some serious googling.

DOUBLE NINJA EDIT - by 'white' above, I mean 'his skin is white but he looks nothing like a Caucasian'. He looks more like an albino arab.

Re: GTA V

I made Franklin's Charger pretty sweet because his car is the only car that reliably shows back up. I spent ALL of Franklin's money making it awesome. I superturbocharged it with all the upgrades. I figured it was fitting if he was hood rich with that shoddy house. His only weapon is a knife.

Since Trevor is so crazy I obsessed over stealing a 747 for HOURS and DAYS. It finally culminated into a a save file of the bird mid-air. Anyway, sometimes I feel the need to go crazy and I have Trevor fuck some shit up.

In this selfie, I had been trying to land the jumbo on the highway. The car you see near the tail section honked at me and flipped me the bird. So, naturally, I gained some altitude and then I nose-dived right into his faggot ass.

Maaaan it's so hard to find a Futo.  I found one last night but didn't end up saving it.

I drove around Rockford hills for over an hour!

Re: GTA V

Totally loving this game! It's good enough for me to get over the whole aiming without a mouse = shit thing. Really enjoying it too, it's so upbeat compared to GTAIV (though I haven't finished the storyline yet, no spoilers!).

Only downside is the serious slowdown since GTA Online launched. I haven't even played online yet, but stupid things, like I just failed a mission for Beverly because my camera wouldn't load, just hung trying to load my previous pics from the socialclub. Genius. GTAV was the biggest entertainment launch EVER, throw more money at servers please Rockstar. Danke.

Re: GTA V

I've figured out the thing I enjoy doing most online is obtaining a speedboat, then just going around on the edges of everything, hearing and seeing odd signs of chaos (gun shots, police helicopters) but I'm just relaxing in my boat with music on. Thinking of making the sole aim of the game to buy the big sailboat and just head off towards the sea (maybe commit suicide).

Currently I have a garage in the desert. My Regina lives inside it. Wondering what to put in the other slot, maybe an RV so I can go camping.

Re: GTA V

Hey hey everything is working fine now, I played it for about 2 hours today, expected a bit more from the free roam but maybe I just need a crew.

Deathmatch is pretty fun, it's basically the same from RDR.

Bike races are a highlight so far.

Apparently the latest patch did improve a lot, today I was finally able to connect and get through the tutorial missions, and getting shot a lot after that.

Re: GTA V

Played some Red Dead Redemption tonight to make sure everything is still working, the camera is a bit jerky if your now used to GTA:V but it's still a great game.

This game also has crazy bandit vs police shoot-outs.

Re: GTA V

Umberto now robs convenience stores on a Sanchez, this is his "SILLY BIKE MAN" outfit. Usually he has a bow tie. Barely anyone uses a bike online, it's weird. Hell of a lot easier to escape from robberies.

0_0.jpg

Finally had one of those experiences worth talking about. I stole some AI car and ended up with a $9000 bounty on my head, which basically means your marker turns red. If someone kills you, they get the bounty. Despite this, I just went about my business as I don't think many people have really figured out the bounty system yet. I've had similar bounties and it didn't really make much difference, I just did what I usually do (attempt to generally stay away from other players). At the time I was in the middle of the city at night and had just dropped a Landstalker at the spray shop for cash when I was jumped on my way out by two guys with pistols - one of them I killed, the other one got me and received his hefty AI bounty.

After waking up at the hospital, I thought "well, that wasn't very nice" and thought I'd try the bounty system myself, placing a $9000 one on him in return (plus $1000 fee for taking it out). Then rather than leave it to everyone else, I thought I'd go looking for him too, since he wasn't far away. It seems very quickly he figured out what was going on as his little red dot started high-tailing it from my little white dot. He'd either run out of bullets or just wanted to concentrate on getting away, as he didn't attempt to shoot at my car, he just drove off. It took a while to get close enough to see him (several blocks away). He was in a Sabre Turbo and I was in a Buccaneer (the Riviera/GTO ripoff) and he started to head north, winding through the twisty country roads. The cars were pretty evenly matched and he was a good driver, just about out of view at all times. I shortcutted a junction and briefly got close enough to shoot out his tail lights with my last few pistol bullets, which must have rattled him as not long after he took it off-road and started smashing through fences and thudding over farmland with me in tow. At this point I must have been chasing him for ages as it was pitch black when the chase began, but now the sun was rising. Both our cars were battered from going through scenery and in a last-ditch escape attempt he pulled onto the desert airfield and jumped into a prop plane. Just as he started setting off, I dived out of my car, shotgunned him in the back of the head and collected my ransom back. I then jumped into a helicopter and left the scene.

It was exciting and well worth the $1000 (and hefty risk on my $9000).

Finally found a Futo for Franklin offline, very happy, the way I found it is saving the game outside the Barber shop in Hawick, they do spawn there.

Ofcourse once you find it they are fricken everywhere, the mods for this car is great, you get one racing seat and it leaves the passenger seat stock, vaary nice.

Re: GTA V

My 360 got stolen a month ago now and cant afford to replace it. But a new roommate has one and goddamnit I can't hold back anymore. I can only sustain myself on cigs beer and weed? I think not. I was hoping the online issues would be fixed before buying gta5. My gamer tag is creepierlamb6. Would be cool to get a decent crew going or even online.
