It's Car Crashes Time!

Since we always talk about TV and not much else, I figured I'd share my latest, mostest favoritest YouTube channel - Car Crashes Time!

Ooh, I do love channels like that. I spent an hour once going through videos of truck tyres exploding, it was superb.

Boats are my THING. Sinky boats. Sunk boats. Crashy boats. Just general boatiness.

Re: It's Car Crashes Time!

This is John @ Ameer's - my favorite boat ever (and I hope to own one some day) are the mid-eighties Chaparral Villain IV's. They're so badass looking and I love looking up videos with huge Mercury Marine big block strokers or supercharged gen IV GM smallblocks. Cuddy cabin, dual transom and 1500hp FTW!!!

I love aviation channels, too - Guido Warneke is fascinating and he records ATC audio for all of his flights so it's really fun to fly 'with' him.

edit - dicks

(oops I meant pics)

Re: It's Car Crashes Time!

I guess I should clarify, I like big boat videos. Huge tankers, cruise liners, that sort of thing. I find them quite amazing.

I went on that ship once, when I went to France for a day. I cannot remember a single thing about it, or the trip.

Not Youtube related, but on that note, let's look at Costa Concordia pictures, because why not, it's fucking amazing.

I'm surprised they've let it become so derelict - you'd think only a partial submersion would be salvageable, considering how much those things must be worth.

Re: It's Car Crashes Time!

I don't think those pictures were taken that long after they'd raised it. Can't find the very first article on the photos, but the fellow who took them had to rock up in a rubber dinghy and break in. Seen a few urbex photo sets of beached, derelict or half sunken ships before, but to do something so high profile is pretty ballsy. Apparently, they had next to no security at the time.

They're trying to keep on the down low while they're scrapping it, which is quite sad. I'd love to have indepth documentation of them breaking it up.
